      Hello,

I am using InDesign-2020 on a Windows 10 system and I have a book in InDesign from which I create a reflowable e-Pub 3.0 without errors and it can be perfectly viewed on Adobe Digital Editions and Google’s Play Book from a PC, however, when I use a mobile (Android/Apple) to view the book on Play Books there is a point in the document where the text is split and continues on the next page. This does not happen if I open the ePUB on other eReaders for mobiles. I was able to identify that the issue is related to the Footnotes since when I delete them from the InDesign document and re-create the ePUB the split text disappears.
The ePUB must be created with Pop-up Footnotes in the export options, however, we have tested the other Footnote options and the problem still exists.
We are suspecting that the problem must be on how PlayBooks reads the Footnotes, I have spent countless hours trying to find an internet post that describes this same problem, but I have not been able to find one and that is why I am reaching out to this resource. I hope you can offer some help.

      Thanks,

      Sharon
