    The new span and split columns is my most used new feature in CS5, but I just noticed today that a two-line paragraph in a split column was broken across the split columns. I tried setting the Keep options to keep all lines together, but it had no effect.

    I'm submitting this to Adobe as a bug, but thought I'd post here to see if anyone has a solution to this.

    That's a bug.

    I can't get any keep options to work when there's spanned headers, or split columns involved.

    I admit the Spanned Column and Split Column are fast becoming my shortcut to layout heaven, but it's most certainly problematic when you want to Keep things together.

    This is a known bug. I brought this up during the beta and I was told that they (adobe) were aware of this limitation and were hoping to address it in a future version. If that means version 7.0.x or CS5 (8.0) I don't know.

    It still can't hurt to file a bug report, if enough people complain they will have to fix it sooner (7.0.x) than later (8.0).
