      I have a interesting issue. When I “ALT” click the “Re-Link” button it gives me the links that are shown and broken, plus 3 extra docs from years ago when I created the document. These 3 extra docs are no longer shown in the links panel. How do I find and remove them? Its in a lot files.

      Can you explain what you mean by “it gives me the links that are shown and broken”? Is it relinking? Trying to relink?

      I’m curious: if you export your file as an IDML file and then open that IDML, does it still happen? If not, then there might be some “cruft” that got stuck in the INDD file.

      Thanks for the response David. The broken links that are displayed I can re-link. I have exported to a IDML file, and this fixes the issue. So obviously some data is hidden somewhere, left over from V5. So I guess the easist route is to export all docs to IDML and save back to Indesign.
