      Hi all

Here’s a link to a screen capture of resizing an image.

Basically, I want the space above and below the image to match the space on the left hand side. You can see in my video, this is how I do it, (and always have).

I’m just curious, surely there must be a smarter, less clunky way of doing this? As an artworker, I’m aware that any task I carry out can always be more time efficient, and I’m sure there’s a better way.

      Thanks in advance!

Everyone works in InDesign differently. Your way is not bad or wrong. I like using numbers instead. For example, I would set the Reference Point in the Control panel to the upper-left corner and then set the Y field to the same as the X field. Then I would stretch the bottom of the frame to the very bottom of the page (where it snaps), and finally I would place my cursor in the H field and subtract the value that I see in the X or Y field

But there are other ways to do it, too! :-)

I think you’re way is more precise — I just need to overcome a 10 year old habit!

I LOVE that link you’ve pointed me to. Adding on top of your current reference points is amazing!

      Thanks
