Hi there! In a project of a client of mine, all “footnotes” must be placed on side of the document (near the margin, aligned to the bottom of the frame). The text come from MS word. Nowadays I have to convert all the footnotes to endnotes (in word) and, after placing and layouting the document, I place the endnotes on the separate frame on the first page that the note should appear and after that, I manually insert frame breaks to “send” the following notes for the next page. If the next page doesn't have any notes, I insert another break and so on. If the document has only a couple of notes, no problem… But the last document I had to work on, had 460 footnotes!!! I tryied to use a plugin called “API Side Head” and it almost did the trick. The only problem with it was that if there were more then a footnote per page, I would have to manually ajust the placement of the frame with the anchored note (one would fall on top of the next one). I know is kind difficult to explain… Please let me know if I could express myself clearly…

Thanks a lot for your thoughts on this!

I've just found this script: https://www.kahrel.plus.com/ind…..notes.html

It looks like just what I needed – I'll install it and let you know.

Yes! It works!!!!! It's perfect!!! I can't believe I had to manually ajust 460 notes on my last document :(

Well, from now on, thanks to Peter Kahrel, the job would be a lot easier!
