I don’t like to place an image by using the place command and then browse to the file.I drag most of my files from finder (or windows explorer) into InDesign. But when drag’n’dropping, the import options stick to the latest setting that is set when using the place command.
I know you can do it from bridge, and right now what I do though is go to the Explorer/Finder and copy the path to the folder, then I file place, paste the path into the File Name location and press return, bringing me to the folder I need.
Is there a way to always show import options by dragging the files from finder? Or by holding a key maybe?

      Thanks Guys
