      I recently updated an InDesign file using Share for Review for proofreading and editing with my team. The editing is done and the update was approved, so it’s time to delete the Share for Review. However, my boss wants a record of edits made and doesn’t want to lose the Share for Review comments. Is there any way to save all of the comments; such as exporting to another file?

      Is there a way to Break Link to Styles (Paragraph and character) on multiple pages at one time? Or do I have to go to each page, and break link to style for Paragraph and then Character style?

      Sarah, sorry to say there is no way to print out the comments.

      But if you have a screen shot utility that can record a scrolling frame inside a web page, like Snagit from TechSmith (what I use), then you can make sure to view and expand all comments and then capture the comment panel as you scroll through it.

      Not much help I know! But at least it’s something.

      For the next project, it might be good to enable Track Changes in All Stories from InDesign’s Type menu. Then as you implement the requested changes, InDesign will track them. It’ll only show you as the author of all the changes though.
