Set Transformations as Default

      Is there a way to transform a custom shape and then set it as default to remove transformations? When I create the transformation and place an image into it, the image is backwards if the transformation was to flip horizontally. I’ve been having to copy the shape in Illustrator then paste it in InDesign. I feel like there has to be a better workflow…

      There is a difference between doing a transformation (rotation, scale, etc) with the Selection tool vs the Direct Selection tool! Check this out:
