Is it possible to search for or select the first line in a textbox with autoflowed text? I have text with a first line indent, but when that text is the first line in a new textframe I don’t want that first line of the paragraph to be indented. Or maybe there is another way that I’m missing?

      Thanks in advance!

set paragraph styles with “next style” and your first one to have the non-indented version

Thanks for your reply Steve, but that only works when it actually is the next style after a hard return. I meant a new textframe at the top of a new page.

      Here’s an example:

which you set the box style as the first para style (no indent) and then flow in your text (from wherever it came)

Yes, I did something like that, but I was wondering if there was a way for indesign to detect whether a line of text is the first on a page so it could change its appearance (no indent in this case).
