      Hi all-

Is there a way, the easier the better, to make a separate TOC for every section (chapter) of my cookbook?

For instance, my “SOUPS” chapter would start on page 22 of the document and I'm planning to assemble these different chapters in segregated *.indd files. When I create a new book with them, can I make a stand-alone “SOUPS” TOC on page 22 (or 21) as well as another one for, let's say, “ENTREES,” as well as all the other chapters? And if I can, will I still be able to create a very brief chapter TOC in the front matter area?

Thanks all. As always, any insight is much appreciated.

If you”re working in a “book” you can make a TOC for every separate file in the book, add it infront of the chapter, and make a big TOC with complete book.

Thank you Gert. I was hoping someone would reassure me.
