Search and replace not working after updating to InDesign CC2014

      Our office has recently updated from CS5 to CC2014, and search and replace has stopped working for one of our designers. These are simple word searches, for example, trying to find all instances of “Christ Child.” She’ll enter the phrase into either Text or Grep and it won’t find anything. She’s already removed her preferences, and it didn’t help. I tried using her file on my computer, and the search works fine.

      We’re using OS 10.9.2, InDesign 2014.0 Release, 10.0.0.70 Build.

      I’ve also posted this question on the Adobe InDesign forum but no answers there..

      Any suggestions? Thank you.

      The only thing I can think of is that maybe the Scope pop-up menu and buttons are set wrong.
