Script to convert gradients (non-swatch) to solid

      Hi there

      I'm working on a black plate change (multi-language) project for a client, and they've handed over some files that have gradients beneathe white-out text. Somehow, the gradients aren't stored as a swatch, so I was wondering if anyone has any idea on how to script a solution to select all these fills (they appear to be the same), and convert to a spot colour.

      Any help would be much appreciated.

      Sean,

      If you could find a trend in the Object Format (might be hard), then you could Find/Change by Object. Best to create a desired Object Style first to guarantee the outcome. The critical part will be the search.
