I took a break from working with a document and found errors that appeared in my absence. The problem is underline 2 rules and miscolored type. If there is I way to send a .pdf let me know-I have one ready to go. Thanks!

      Hi Tom,

Unfortunately your email is bouncing back, preventing me from sending you the PDF and my reply.

I hope its just a minor SNAFU and we’ll be in touch soon.

No success with the address. Here is the latest error:

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Unrouteable address. Please check the message recipient tom.vene@livrospraja.com and try again.

      Thanks for being so diligent

Dear Nicole, I am not giving up :-)
Please examine my address, it has a suffix (.br) after .com
      <tom.vene@livrospraja.com.br>
This is why your message returned. Please try again.
      Best
      Tom

      Tom,

I checked the address several times before sending each new message and I can’t get it to go through.

      Thanks,
      Nicole

Nicole, Tom’s address is working fine for me, I just checked.

      what’s the latest bounce message?

I know this must be frustrating.

You realize this is the incorrect address, right? “Please check the message recipient tom.vene@livrospraja.com and try again.”

    • #69324

Thanks for the encouragement Anne-Marie. I do notice some changes and am using the link you sent to try again. And thanks for taking note of the high frustration factor.

      I’ll keep you posted.

      Nicole

False alarm- here’s the latest error message-
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Unrouteable address. Please check the message recipient tom.vene@livrospraja.com and try again.

      hmmm..

Nicole, as I wrote you before you are addressing wrongly my email. You MUST add the suffix .br for Brazil.

You are sending your messages to tom.vene@livrospraja.com.

You have to send them to tom.vene@livrospraja.com.br

This is why your messages are bouncing

      @nicole: The following address(es) failed: wordpress@indesignsecrets.com.

Can you try sending the pdf to tom.vene@livrospraja.com.br only?

I tried the tom.vene mail, and no problem for me. Maybe the wordpress is the problem here.

      Hello Nicole and Gert,
As far as I know the email address [wordpress@indesignsecrets.com] is only used by the Indesign Secrets forum to send a copy of messages posted on the thread’s page. If members wish to correspond they have to use their private addresses.
Therefore Nicole, what Gert recommends is correct: you MUST send your pdf file to my private address [tom.vene@livrospraja.com.br]. Please make sure you write .br after .com and send the pdf as an attachment.

      Tom,

I thought I saw a reply to my questions about the rules now I can’t find it. Would you please resend? Thanks.
      Nicole
