Hi all,
I've been using InDesign for a number of years now but I'm only just getting around to using tables.
In general, it all seems OK, with the exception of the fact that text alignment within a cell is governed by the paragraph style rather than the cell style which, to me, would seem more natural and ultimately, much more useful.
The problem I do have, is with row height.
I first selected a cell, then in the Rows and Columns tab of the Cell Options dialogue box, I set the Row Height to be At Least 4.25mm with Maximum left as the default setting.
With the cell still selected, I created a cell style and nominated this in the Cell Styles section of the Table Styles Option dialogue box.
However, when I apply the Table Style to a new table the row height does not match the setting I defined, (1.058mm in table I am currently playing with). Furthermore, manually changing the row height in individual cells does not result in an 'override' leading me to assume that Row Height isn't tied to the Cell Style in the way I had expected.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Regards, Red
