I am using InDesign to create a template for designing refrigerator magnets. I would like to include a rectangular guide with rounded corners to represent the eventual cutting line. I would rather not use an ordinary rectangle frame. Is there a way to do this in InDesign?

You can just select your rectangle graphic/text box. Then go to “Object” then “Corner Options.” From there you can select rounded corners.

Or, select the box, go to “Object” then scroll down to “Convert Shape” and select rounded rectangle.

But–if you use the first option I gave you can control how round the corners are.
