Restarting a Spell Check

Just today I made a fubar of a search and replace, I replaced all the Jan with January, and Mar with March. Not limiting my search to a selection. Further to this, the changes were saved and closed. When I reopened I noticed names had changed from “Jane” to “Januarye” and from Mary to Marchy and AnneMarchie and so on. Such a stupid mistake… sigh.

Well I ran the Spell Checker and I somehow missed one or two with this double tapping finger of mine when it spasms (no idea why perhaps it's like an eye-twitch that you can't control) anyway I hit the Ignore All button.

So I thought I'd rerun the spell check, but it won't find the spelling mistakes I've said ignore to. I had to restart the program to restart a spell check.

So apart from not being an idiot when doing a Find/Replace, how can I restart a spell check on a document that you've hit Ignore All on?

When you click Ignore All, the word is added to the Ignored Word list for the document. You can view these and delete them from the list (meaning they'll be flagged again) by going to Edit > Spelling > Dictionary and choosing Ignored Words from the Dictionary List dropdown menu there.

Ok, cool. I'll check that out. It's not that obvious EmbarassedLaugh

Pity the Spell Checker dialog box doesn't give you a button to go to this list. Or a Reset Ignored Words?

Wish I had asked this question earlier, but good to know in future. I accidentally replaced a name with a space, then had to go find them all. What a screw up. This might have helped.
