      Hello,

Can somenone please tell me how do i resize only one element in an ungrouped selection of two objects (lets say picture is one box and caption is another). In CS3, the behaviour was that you could resize the picture object without afecting the other one in an ungrouped selection.

      10x.

If you select two objects, you have made a temporary group, so you cannot resize a single item in there, I think.

I am working in CS6, upgraded from CS3. So, in CS6, if i import from the library an element composed of a picture box and a text box (the caption), that are not grouped, i have to click away to deselect the elements, then click on the picture box and change it if i want to make it bigger, whereas in CS3 i used to import the element and immediately resize the picture frame without affecting the size text frame, although they were both selected.

Yes, you are correct. You need to select what you want to edit, and whatever is selected is what gets changed.
