    Hi

    When I export to EPUB from Indesign, I get a lot of extra space above and below the images. I have checked all my settings and there is no space after or space before. As a result I can’t fit the text and image onto the same page when they should easily fit. This happens with all my images. I’ve checked all my paragraph styles and even started a brand new document. I’ve googled my head off and can’t find what to do…

    Please help if you can!

    Are you using SVGs? We had a similar problem. See here to see how we solved https://ninjabeaver.net/2015/03/wrestling-with-svg-in-epub-for-mobi/. It could also be the padding or margins on your images in your CSS.

    I realised what I was doing wrong. When exporting the epub I chose “relative to text flow” in the Objects section and it fixed it. Thanks :)
