I've placed a 40 page pdf on the appropriate pages for a booklet in Indesign. When I went to up date the pdf, it placed the 1st page on everypage. Help what did I do wrong.

Did you simply update the PDF, or did you relink to new file? I've found that if I relink the PDF, and choose show import options, it will defual to placing page 1 on every page. So if I've got a multi-pafe PDF that I need to update, I just save over the old PDF and simply choose to update the links in the Links Panel.

I know you're trying to do this in InDesign, but there is a print to booklet feature in the Acrobat print dialog box. I had been imposing booklets manually for at least five years before I discovered that feature.

Thank you. I've used the booklet function in Acrobat for quick prints. But it doesn't size the pages quite right. The document I have has bleeds across the gutters.

There was an error in my pdf and that was the cause. Thank you again.
