      Hi All
Ive created a booklet but now i want to re-arrange and work the pages panel in the indesign document in a printer-spread or imposition way.

Reason why i want to do this, is to be able to export the pages as spreads, so when i come to print them inhouse, i wont get that white space non-print area in the middle or between pages. Hope that made sense?

Because usually when you print a booklet inhouse (xerox c-60), you get a white space around each page.
I want to get rid of that white space in the middle of the spread and then trim the white space around the outer edge of the booklet.

In my head, rearranging the pages in an imposition way so i can close the white gap between pages and exporting as spread will work best.
But If there is an easier way of doing this, im happy to try.

      +1 to Dieter’s comment.

If you create your design across the entire spread and export the PDF as a spread then you won’t be left with the gaps in the middle.

Disclaimer: I am speaking from my experience in the comp department at a printing press. I am making the assumption that this approach will work for your digital printing process but I don’t really know =)
