Pulling Type on a Path to Photoshop

      Hi there,

      I have some type I want to pull out to Photoshop to rasterise and edit. But it is type on a path, meaning the bounding box only envelops the path, not the text. When it arrives in PS or Illy, the only visible bits are the parts of the type that were enclosed in the box. Can I fix this? Or is the only solution to start it in PS?

      There is probably a clipping mask around it. If you paste it in AI first, then choose Object > Clipping Mask > Release, you should be able to remove the mask and then just copy the text on a path into Photoshop. Does that work?

      That certainly reveals the text, thanks David. Although AI does insist on outlining some of the text which is a probably unrelated annoyance. In this case it’s being rasterised anyway so happy days.
