As small design company I would like to access the world of digital publishing, I produce high quality bespoke brochures for a limited audience.

Many of my clients would like to see the brochures and distribute them on the iPad. I keep looking into this and find:

      1. Big enterprise solutions aimed at publishing like Adobe Digital Publishing suite An investment I cannot fully utilise.

      2. Pdf publishing is very poor and not the experience my clients want to pursue.

      3. I would have to convert everything to HTML 5 and find a delivery mechanism.

      4. E publishing not the right quality.

Over the last year i switched from Quark to InDesign believing that Indesign would produce away forward they seem to have, but it's seems to be aimed at the big corporate publishers.

Am I missing something here I have seen the demos of the Adobe Digital Publishing suite it seems just what i need.

Can anyone offer a little clarity.

Most of the brochure I have produced only had a print run of 1000. Nowadays that has come down to 200 and pdf versions which are emailed out only prime clients get a hard copy.

There must be other designer looking into this. Would appreciate some feed back.

You can easily publish different types of magazines to the iPad, and even publish books containing various types of topics. It is really very interesting.

Yes you sure can post your magazine to an iPad and the results are stunning. SImply create a new web document, create your cover, layout, widen the view, and create the subsequent InDesign documents to be contained within.

Pay attention to your folder structure and create interactive videos for a magazine that is more than just something to read.

Well, you can use XFlip digital publishing software, it can help you create files that allow you upload on your website, and allows your readers browser the magazines on their iPads.

Yes. Page turner software perform well in many cases because they can also be viewed on the iPad / iPhone. Look this sample flip magazine https://www.kvisoft.com/flipbook-maker-pro/demos/sport/#/0 on iPhone iPad and other Android phone or tablet. Have fun for reading on mobile.
