Since migrating to a new iMac a few weeks ago, the book publisher I freelance for has asked me to dig some old books out of my archives for updating and republishing/reprinting. Although my CS6 behaves impeccably, including InDesign (fingers heavily crossed — please forgive typing!), every time I open a file in InD I get stuff about Proximity not being installed and that hyphenation might change.

Actually we don’t care about Hyphenation as we don’t use it at all but what I’m finding very tiresome/monotonous is opening, one file at a time, hundreds of files that make up a Book and changing the Dictionary (in Prefs) to Hunspell.

Is there a way to change all the files in a Book at the same time? Can’t find anything in the Book panel’s flyout menu …

      Thank you.

I don’t think there is any book-wide ability to change those. A script might be able to do it.
