      Hi there :)

I'm working on a small book for a professor and I have this weird problem when the text suddenly jumps onto the next page even if there is enough space left on the page I am working on.

I recieved the text in Word and imported it and placed it in the master text frame so that it would flow and just make the pages necessary. I can't find any hidden characters that explains the behaviour nor have I used the keep option in the paragraph style. Sometimes it jumps up to almost 1/3 of a page and other times just one sentence. Leaving me with two-five word on the top of the next page from the last paragraph…

Here you can see a screenshot of the problem. The text have jumped from the left hand page onto the right hand without me having any way of getting it back…

If anyone got any idea what is going on or have the solution to the problem I would be most grateful. I work in InDesign 5.5 on a PC with Windows 7 if that is needed info.

In advance, thanks for the help :)

You can use the icon that looks like a “tree” to post images – I don't have a FlickR account and it says I have to log in.
