Problems importing Microsoft Word files

      I have just complete a book and something strange has happened. I imported and flowed a Microsoft Word document into Indesign and on occasions it has added words that don't appear in the Word document. Has anybody else experieneced this?? and how does it happen?

      Did you have tracked changes enabled in the Word document? If so – accept all the changes first in Word, then import the file.

      Might be one possible explanation.
