      Hello,

I’ve got some issue about applying style in a TOC.

For this TOC, I just got one entry (h1). I created a style just for the TOC that I include in the style TOC but it still conserve the style TOC I’m using in the book.

I do not understand why it won’t overide the style using in the book by the one I implement in the Style TOC ?

If someone can give me any advise, it should be great.

      Thanks and take care…

Hard to know. Perhaps there is a character style applied to the headings in the book, or to the TOC?

I was thinking the same thing but I didn’t know where to look. So far, the Character style applying is the one I’m using in the book. In the TOC option, I apply a speceific one and this one is suppose to overwright the original TOC style use in the book.
I’m gonna have a deeper look at it and let you know if I found something.

Still, thanks for you quick answer ^^

I find something that will maybe clarify the situation. The style that apply automaticaly isn’t the Paragraph style but a Character style.

If someone have any clue about how to direct the TOC to do not consider the Character style it could be a great help. Just in case of, in the Paragraph style that I’m using for the TOC style, the basic character style is Times New Roman but instead of that, it apply a special character style that I use to implement on the forst letter of each of the chapter.

In other world, it keep this special character style instead of ignoring it.

P.S.: Not sure that I’m really clear ?!

Take care and have a nice day… ^^
