Do any of you clever people know how I might automate the process of adding images to create a print flip book? My process currently is to copy an image that in correctly positioned on page 1 > got to next page > paste image in place > swap image for the next in the sequence from the folder of all the images (all sequentially numbered) > repeat?

I’m sure this must be automatic somehow, I haven’t worked out how to do it with data/mail merge. Any tips greatly received before I get cramp in my hands!

      Caspian,

I have seen several posts that describe using DataMerge to handle the automation. This one seemed to have a few solutions. https://forums.adobe.com/message/4835887 (I have not tried this personally).

If you find one that works better than another, let us know.

If you have all the images in a folder, you can import them quickly. Here’s how:

Thank you Justin and David. Those look like two different methods that are worth trying. If it works I might just make an inDesign flip-book tutorial as I couldn’t find anything out there, and I can’t be the only one trying to do this.
