After updating 2 days ago to latest Windows 10, which always presents some sort of problem, when we open a file printed previously the printing properties are not held and changes made in the driver are not held. If I print to another printer and then print to the original printer, the settings will stick. If I am starting a new file, there is not an issue with the settings holding. Same if I open a file previous to when we installed the printers we use now. Printing from ID CS6 only is the problem.

      The procedure we do is:
      Print (choose printer)
      setup
      Preferences
Choose options in driver (ie – duplex, tray, etc)
      Print
Print again to send to printer

If you stop at the next to last Print command, and go back to check your options in the print drive – they did not stick or hold.

If we choose another printer and proceed as follows, but stop short of the last print command, then choose the original printer and the options will now hold.

I hope that better explains what is going on…

      Any solutions to try?
