Pen Tool goes rogue!

      I have been using InDesign since Ver 1, but just recently have had a odd problem with the pen tool- it automatically adds a small cross bar at the beginning and end of an open line.

      There must be a place to control this, but I am not finding it. I just want to remove the silly cross bar. Any help?

      I'm guessing it's just one of the endcaps in the Start or End pop-up menus in the Stroke panel…? Perhaps one got set while no objects were selected on the page, which makes it the default for future objects.

      Thanks, David, that was the issue. You know, in all the time I have used InDesign, I have never had occasion to visit that function- glad to know it is there! Thanks for fast response!
