PDF2ID vs PDF2DTP

      Can someone point me to an unbiased comparison between these two conversion programmes?

      I was looking for something like this myself a few months back and Kelly Vaughn (@documentgeek) was kind enough to tell me about them, and mostly the output is very similar between the two, I ended up buying DTP2PDF and I can say the conversion options aren’t plentiful but they get you what you need (I can post a screenshot later if you like). I had Kelly convert the same 6 pages of a PDF with both plug-ins so I could see the difference in output so if you would like to compare the outputs here are links to them on Dropbox. You can visit https://www.recosoft.com and obtain a full functioning trial of PDF2ID (limited in terms of pages to convert, number of documents and image resolution output). The cost of PDF2ID varies between US$99 to US$299 depending on your needs. Its a perpetual license and not subscription.

      Paul, I thought I saw a $99 version a while ago that was not an update but a basic version of the plug-in. Now I only se a $199 version on the website. Has the price gone up?
