pdf that capture the name of each layer in a pdf?

      I have several jobs with multiple layers. It has been time consuming to turn all the layers off but one, make the pdf, go back turn off that layer and turn on another. Is there something I'm missing? Is there plugin to help with that? Thank you for any help!
