Sometimes, when I save a PDF from an Indesign document the boxes around some of the imported logos are showing as a white boxes on screen. Sometimes the actual PDF looks OK on screen but when its attached to an email the white boxes show. But when i email to my clients she can’t see the white boxes and the PDF prints OK on her inkjet printer. I have tried filling the boxes with background colour -and also leaving them with no colour. Still the same problem… This is driving me crazy – any ideas folks?

      Hello Masood

thanks for you suggestion – I tried exporting the PDF with Compatibility set to Acrobat 7 and that seems to have solved my problem. BRILLIANT!

I have recently changed to CS6 from CS3 – and had adjust my colour management settings and watched a video on Lynda.com that suggested to saving PDF’s as PDF/X-3:2002 which has helped my colour be more consistent but do you think that might have affected things? But I am only using HP inkjet printer so not working o high quality professional projects!

thanks again for your help, chris
