PDF Help!:) File info

      Hi everyone!

      Im currently working on a magazine for print. I'm designing a lot of the content myself, but some clients have their own designs already. First, what is the best way to have them send me their designs for print? Most are providing me their files in PDF format(exported from whatever program they used, as a high quality print output).

      As im importing PDF(placing as pdf inside my magazine) how can i check that they actually used the right setting for print(CMYK profile, 300DPI at least). Thanks in advanced

      If you have acrobat, use the preflight profiles to the pdf BEFORE placing them. That way you can ask the clients to adapt the pdf is needed.

      In Indesign, you can preflight the document too.
