    Hi,

    I have an ordinary 24 page folder. When I export it using my regular settings everything works fine. However, I created a copy of the file to change the page dimensions slightly to fit for a desktop printer. When I try to export that, the strangest thing happens:

    The file is visible in finder as it is exporting, but the second it is finnished it just vanishes without a trace.

    After going through and untoggling the various settings in the pdf export I realized that it was the “Create Tagged PDF” that was causing it. But how?
    As I recall I didn’t change anything that would affect the tag-structure.

    I tried the usual stuff: duplicating the file and changing the name, saving to IDML and reopening, reinstalling indesign, resetting preferences, but nothing works. And it only effects this particualar file. Any ideas? I was a bit unsure where to look for plugins however, so I havent tried diabeling anything there.

    I’m on the latest indesign build as of january 2018.

    I see now this has been discussed here, see link below.

    However I do not have any embossing in my file. And again: the other file works fine and I have not done anything to the failing indesign file than changeing page dimensions, and some slight re-layout to match the new size.

    Ok, I figured out what the problem was.

    I had some groups of texts and objects, consisiting of many subgroups. When I ungroped those everything worked fine.
    Still a bug though, strange …
