pasteboard?

      I'm not sure what to call this or how it happened. Yesterday when I closed my file, InDesign displayed a big, blank gray screen / pasteboard area. This hasn't happened before and I'm not sure how to change it back. The program is still on, and I can see the workspace at the top. Additionally, the file name is no longer at the very top (like a title tag).
      Can anyone help?

      I'd like the big, blank gray screen to go away and just have the workspace menu and tools. thanks!

      Is the Window > Application Frame turned on? Perhaps that's the gray background you're seeing?
