Parent Pages

      I find that if I create many parent pages – like 20 – in a single document the file becomes very slow. Especially if the parent pages are based off of other parents.
      Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
      How many parent pages can an Indesign file typically function with?

      I have created documents with more than 20 parent pages and they were, even, nested. No problem at all.

      Agreed… there should be no problem with 20 parent/master pages.
      I wonder if there are other elements that could be slowing it down, such as footnotes, endnotes, cross-references, very long stories, etc.
