Would it be possible to setup a paragraph style that spans 1 column and part of another, allows text to wrap around the paragraph in the column that it partially spans without it being a separate text box?

Meaning it would look like this pull quote in this example: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AgolVopPuag7jKxdF5K_2CzmG13zlw?e=t0sGs9

Hoping to automate this style of pull quote as much as possible.

      Is this do-able?

I don’t think it’s possible to make this work without a text box for the pull quote. However, you could anchor said text box within the main body to keep things together as you edit the main body. You could also set up an object style for the pull quote text box to add those borders, set width, etc.

Yeah, you’d need to do that as a separate text frame.
As Amanda pointed out, you could anchor it into the text… but there’s a trick: the text wrap of anchored frames ONLY affects text AFTER the line of text where they’re anchored. So in this case, you’d need to anchor it in the paragraph starting with “Designer’s such as Stuart…”
