      Hello my fellow indesignfans,

i have made a document and used the plugin from DTP tools, Pagecontrol in it's trailfase. In CS2.

Now i have CS5 and was eager to open my formerly created indd.

Offcourse it warned me i had used a plug-in that was not installed, et cetera.

Now the efficient worker inside me thought to 'change' those CS2 pages with the new CS5 tool, just save the document, and that's that. Helas, the warning stayed. And that's not what i want.

I made sure that all the pages we're moved to another doc, and voila! the pagecontrol warning was not longer there.

What i really want is to make the warning 'disappear' inside the documents made with that trail version.

      Is that even possible?

I hope someone can enlighten me!

      Sincerely, hopsa

File>Export and choose IDML(InDesign Markup Language)

Then open the file (IDML file) in InDesign. File>Save As and name your file.

      i think that's how it's done.

Yes, that is usually the best route for getting rid of any traces of plug-ins.

Cool – I don't use plugins so I was just making sure
