Page numbers sometimes not printing

      My client is insisting I fix this. I have a 140+ page book of 9 chapters with automatic, consecutive page numbers. They are all built off the same master but the masters have been changed for specific chapters due to color use. In every chapter there are page numbers going missing on the recto side, often in sequence, but not always. Occasionally one will be skipped. NO problems with the verso side. The page numbers are visible in the ID file and in the PDF but not when printed at the printers. I can print them on my laser printer.

      How do I fix something I can't see? I'm wondering if it has to do with the PDF making of the document? Any other ideas?
