      Hello,

My question should be simple, but it's pretty complicated to me . . . it seems.

I am creating training materials, both participant manuals and instructor's manuals.

I'd like to number the pages in the participant manual normally. But in the instructor's manual, I'd like to number only the right-hand pages. No numbers would appear on the left-hand pages . . . and the left-hand pages would not be counted in the numbering.

So, page one of the instructor's manual would be numbered “1″, page two would not be numbered, page three would be numbered “2″, page four would not be numbered, page five would be numbered “3″, and so on.

This would enable me to make each right-hand page of the instructor's manual match the corresponding page in the participant manual but leave all the left-hand pages for notes and special directions and advice to the instructor. When the instructor was on the right-hand page numbered “15” (which would actually be page 30 of the document), it would correspond to page 15 in the participant manual.

      Can this be done?

I would really appreciate any insight anyone can offer . . .

I'd probably use auto numbering instead of page numbering:
