How can I insert a page number in running text that will change when/if the number changes. Example: “For more information on [XYZ] see the page [#].”

To clarify, this does not link to a section. It’s a link to a graphic that’s embedded farther down the document. Thanks.

You must use Textanchors. You’ll find them in the Hyperlinkspalette (Window/Interactive/Hyperlinks)

      To make a textanchor
      – First you select the text or anchord object
      – In your Hyperlinkpalette in the pulldown menu you select “new hyperlink destination”.
      – Select Textanchor
      – Give it a name like “Image on page number”

To place the textanchor in your text
      – In your Hyperlinkpalette in the pulldown menu you select “new cross reference”
      – Make sure you choose ‘Link to Text anchor’
      – Choose your Textanchor (Image on page number)
      – Choose your Cross Reference format

Click OK and it should be working

Thanks. Cross-references did the trick, actually. I feel like a moron for forgetting about those.
