I am new to Indesign and am using it to create an interactive pdf. The document is now 75 pages long with interactive buttons to link to other pdf’s. It was almost finished, and I was creating a TOC when I noticed that a few of the items that should have been in TOC near the beginning were not present. I went to that page ( page 6) in doc. but cannot access anything on it – although all the other pages are fine. Is there some way to refresh/re-activate an individual page? I don’t understand how it occurred. Nothing appears to be locked in layers…

It’s so hard to know what’s going on. Make sure you have backups (do a Save As every now and again, so you can go back to earlier versions if things go wrong). You can try to save (or export) to an IDML file, then open that IDML file… this often clears up weirdness and corruption that might have snuck in and is causing problems. It’s also possible that the objects themselves are locked on the page. (Try choosing object > unlock all.)
