I needed a Chapter # to have 36 points space above.

I thought of ending the earlier page by adjusting the text frame and using the Start at Next Page option for the chapter#. Surprisingly there is no option for defining a 36 pt space above it.

I tried inserting a blank line above the chapter#, but it always went back to the earlier page.

Is there any definitive Page Break option? Also, what should I do to get the Space Above for the chapter#? Thanks

The easiest way to give space above is to use a character style with a baseline shift of -36 pt. The space before option of the paragraph is only in effect when there is a paragraph before.

Exactly. Hence I tried to put a blank paragraph above the lesson#, but it was pulled back to the previous page. If we could have a page-break option, this situatiion could easily be solved. Any ideas for page-breaks?
