    I’m working on a college catalog with about 300 pages and when I make a change to the text, the formatting on the subsequent pages goes awry. I’ve tried hard breaks, thinking it would work better than manually adjusting the column handles to create breaks in text from one column to the next or between pages. What ends up happening is If I make any significant change, I get empty columns throughout the remainder of the doc from the hard breaks. These are late stage changes, so most of the text has been set, but there are some changes that require adding some paragraphs or even a page, like a separator page.
