Override page numbering on Pages panel?

      hi! I’m trying to export a series of layouts from one InDesign file, and I would love to be able to set the page numbers to something arbitrary for each page (like I would name artboards in illustrator) so when I export them, a separate file per page, I get the right “page number” appended to the file, which is actually a code for each layout. Is this possible? thanks so much as always!!

      The closest thing I can think of would be to set a section start at each page you wanted to label. Then in Numbering & Section Options add a section prefix (up to 8 characters). The prefix doesn’t have to appear on the document pages, but it can be added to the file name when you export separate PDFs for each page.
