      Hi,

I am creating a picture book that has an pdf on each page. When I export the document to PDF and go to the output preview, one page shows all images black and another shows the transparency of the images. I have the “Simulate Overprinting” on and using simulation profile: US Web Coated (SWOP) 2. I checked the original PDFs and don’t have that issue. Only after I placed them in InDesign and export to PDF that happens.

I have already tried different export setting and nothing seems to work. Even the printer couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the files and is asking us to rasterize each pdf before placing them into InDesign. This wouldn’t be a problem except that we will have to do this to several books and each has about 300 pages! Any advice would be helpful!

      Thanks in advance,
      – Mina
