    I'm trying to figure out if multiple linked pdfs can be moved to a different drive… and maintain their links? i.e. if they're stored in the same folder with the index file will they still be linked when moved… Or is there a way to accomplish this???

    Go to the Links panel, select the files in question, from the panel fly-out menu go to Utilities, choose “Copy Link(s) to”, this will let you save the files to anywhere you want and have the links updated to the Copies.

    I am talking about linked files not files that have hyperlinks by the way, if thats what you need then my solution is not what you want I guess.

    Hmmm… I'm not sure what you mean by utilities… there is no utilities in the Hyperlinks fly-out menu? I'm on CS5.5 I'm linking the index items (text) to pdf files stored in a folder. But when I move the index (and folder of items) I need the links to still work. So it's a mater of the index pdf remembering where the links go after moving…
