Old File still opens after new file has been saved

      When working in or on a document that was previously created and newer version is saved or have been saved. When I go back to open the document the older versions without the updated changes still opens

      Are you sure you’re opening the newer file?

      I only ask because several times a gal at work has has done a “save as” on the file and saved it to the wrong folder.

        yea I’m sure
        it even shows it was modified last yet when its opened its still showing the older unedited or newly edited file

      This may have nothing to do with your problem, but we have a similar thing occurring here when saving the document to our external server, for some reason folders sometimes get corrupted and simply will not accept changes, the only solution we have found was to make a new folder and transfer all the files to the new one, then saving returns to normal.

        Only thing is the file is saved locally and not on a server or in any cloud or area where permissions would restrict the changes.
