      Hi all,

I’ve got the following problem (Sample file – https://www.file-upload.net/download-10138599/problem.indd.html):

      Situation:
I’ve got two text frames on a page. The top one contains of the Chapter number level 1 (e.g. Chapter 1)

In a sidenote the chapter numbers of level 2 are written (e.g. Chapter 1.1)

      ______|________

      ______| Chapter 1 |

      ______|———-
      C 1.1.| …..

      C 1.2.| …..

      C 1.3.| …..

      Problem:

When I copy this page (“Move pages”), the top frame changes it’s numbering properly, but the sidenotes numbers stay at 1.1…

      ______|________

      ______| Chapter 2 |

      ______|——–

      C 1.1.| …..

      C 1.2.| …..

      C 1.3.| …..

Manual approach (not a satisfying solution):

When I cut and paste the sidenote the problem is solved for the one page.

      ______|________

      ______| Chapter 2 |

      ______|———
      C 2.1.| …..

      C 2.2.| …..

      C 2.3.| …..

      Question:

Is there a general approach to avoid this problem? The need exists as I want to merge several documents into one with a script using the “move page” function, so it’s necessary for me

      Thank you very much!

      Kind regards,

      Tim
