Numbered boxes appearing over interactive buttons in PDF

      Created files in InDesign CS5 and exported as Interactive PDF. Buttons function (and rollovers) but some clients with Acrobat Pro (versus reader) see white boxes with black numbers over the buttons. My colleagues and I have Acrobat Pro and we don’t see these numbers. Any ideas? I have CS5 with Acrobat 9 Pro.

      Do you know which version and build your clients are on?

      If they have chosen the Select Object tool (as part of the interactive objects editing), then I can see how they might see labels… for example, here’s what one PDF looks like with that tool selected:

      But I’m not sure what else would make labels appear like that.
